An aid to practice and composition for traditional and digital artists. Pose, light and render your models to create reference images that you can take with you wherever you go, or work from the model in the viewport of your chosen application to get every angle. The ability to have complete control of your lighting in particular makes this a very useful practice tool, and can be helpful with more complex compositions.

As this product is aimed at traditional and digital artists, who may well be unfamiliar with 3D modelling applications, an overview of the workflow and some general directions are included with the download. Whilst this is not a step-by-step guide, it should provide enough information to make the learning process less painful. Although it may seem daunting at first, creating reference images for your work using a 3D model is really quite straightforward

This model uses a simple parented rig, with many of the joints constrained to a single rotational axis to make posing easier. As you may wish to search for reference images to achieve a more natural pose, the model is based loosely on a European house spider
