DESCRIPTION

Learjet produced the Learjet 35 and 36 as a further development of the Learjet 25. It is a multi-role business and corporate transport and military logistics and transport. The Learjet 35 is powered by two Garret Turbofan Engines and has a cabin that can be arranged to carry between 6 and 8 passengers. It is flown by two crew. The model 35 has a larger cabin while the 36 has a shorter interior cabin and fewer seats to add additional fuel storage behind the cabin for longer range operations.

It first flew in 1973 and production continued until 1993 with over 600 built. The cost of a Learjet 35 or 36 is 3.1 million dollars average as of 1996. It has a range of 2004 nm and a cruise speed of 325 knots. Its service ceiling is 45000 feet.
