The B-29 was one of the most advanced bombers of its time, featuring innovations such as a pressurized cabin, remote-controlled gun turrets, and a high altitude operational capability. The aircraft played a significant role in the final stages of the war and is an important symbol of the impact of aerial warfare and nuclear weapons. After the war, "Bockscar" was preserved and is currently displayed at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
