This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. Propellers are animated. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and turbines. The model is fully textured and is available in several different formats. We are providing the Super Guppy model in 3 different liveries.
It can be used in an animated or static position within an animated video or possibly for programming for a flight simulation application. This model was not designed for 3d printing, these are digital files only.

The Aero Spacelines Super Guppy is a large, wide-bodied cargo aircraft that is used for hauling outsize cargo components. It was a development of the standard Boeing 377 airliner. The fuselage was highly modified to give a radically expanded diameter enabling the aircraft to carry exceedingly large pieces of cargo. These aircraft were key components in the space race effort and were used to carry things as large as sections of the Saturn V booster rocket. These aircraft were restricted to flying only in very favorable environmental conditions at altitudes of less than 10,000 feet and cruised at about 150 mph.
