Designed and manufactured by Albatros Flugzeugwerke, the Albatros D.III was one of the most iconic German fighter aircraft of World War I. Introduced in early 1917, it quickly became a dominant force in aerial combat thanks to its combination of speed, maneuverability, and firepower.
The D.III was an evolution of the earlier Albatros D-series fighters, featuring a streamlined wooden monocoque fuselage and powered by the reliable Mercedes D.III engine. Armed with twin synchronized 7.92 mm Spandau machine guns, it provided excellent offensive capability for its time.
This highly detailed 3D model recreates the aircraft with accurate proportions and optimized topology, making it suitable for cinematics, historical visualizations, games, and real-time projects.
