Volocopter VC200 is a two seated multirotor design all electric prototype rotorcraft (multicopter). It is made by German company e-volo. The VC200 demonstrated first unmanned flight in November 2013, followed by the first manned flight on March 30, 2016. All 18 direct drive electric motors are 2kW each.
MODELVolocopter is made from 214 polygonal objects. All geometry objects are parented to helper objects for easy handling. All 18 rotors are riged and ready for animation with single Speed lider, which can be accessed through HLPR_VC_Rotate helper's modifier.Main objects are modelled as subdivisional and have turbosmooth modifier applied. Smaller objects are modelled without subdivision.Model is made of quads and triangles. No N-gons were used. 94% of polygons, are quads.Polycount:Subdivision level - 0 Polys - 611 307 Verts - 612 913Subdivision level - 1 Polys - 1 045 351 Verts - 800 789
MATERIALSMaterials are prepared for Corona, Vray and Scanline renderers.Scanline scene has only basic materials and will NOT render the same as in preview images.FBX file has simplified materials and may require significant rework after import.OBJ file has very basic materials or no materials at all.
TEXTURESModel has 17 high quality texture of up to 4096 x 4096 resolution.Textures are saved in losseless PNG format.Textures are collected in one archive and are delivered in separate file.
SCENEModel is scaled to proper real world dimensions. Scene units are in cm.All objects, materials and textures are properly and uniquely named. All transformations has been reset and model is placed at scene origin [0, 0, 0 XYZ].All texture paths are set to relative.Transformations of geometry objects are locked to prevent accidental movement. If you need to move separate objects, unlock them in command panel > hierarchy tab > link info area.

GENERALModeled in 3ds max.Preview images are rendered with Corona renderer.Render scenes are not included.
NOTESIn some preview renders there's missing dandelion graphic on the model's windshield. It is due to the fact that i forgot to plug one texture into material node, however it is fixed in uploaded model, so everything should render just fine.
