The company began with 2 MD-80's. On June 2, 2013 the company sold the MD-80's and bought 3 MD-83's. On June 6, 2013 the company recieved 2 Gulfstream G550 from Royal Airways [now defunct], of which GoldenJet was a subsidiary, to be reworked into commercial versions. GoldenJet finished reworking them into commercial versions on June 7, 2013. On March 5th, 2014 GoldenJet sold 2 MD-83's to Golden Moose Airways and bought 2 Boeing 757-217W's from them for a symbolic price of 41,506,789USD. Later, the company ordered one more Boeing 757-217W. On July 28th, 5 Bombardier Challenger 300's were delivered %26 remodeled to commercial jets. On the same date, the company established 5 more regional Icelandic routes. On November 19th, GoldenJet received 3 Airbus A340-200 from V2 Airlines for free, as they were accounted as aircraft debris more than anything. On November 23rd, GoldenJet's mechanics finish restoring the aircraft to working conditions. On the same day as GoldenJet received the Airbus A330's, it also purchased 1 Boeing 767-308 from Isen Air Inc. On January 1, 2015 GoldenJet bought 5 Airbus A310-300 with PW4000 engines from Trojan Air, Inc. for a price of 105,800,000USD. On January 16, 2015 the company received the aircraft. Now, the company has 20 routes, but plans to have much more in the future. GoldenJet operates to Akureyri, Höfn, Isafjordur, Husavik, Saudarkrokur, Egilsstadir, Grimsey, Nuuk, London, Manchester, Amsterdam %26 Rotterdam (operated by Europe-United Airlines), Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Paris, Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, and Moscow.Thanks to AirbusA330 and WilliamT for the original A330 and wings used in the template used for this model.
