An Antonov An-140 of Airica Airlines approaches the un-numbered runway of Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport of Windhoek, Namibia from Walvis Bay Airport, Walvis Bay, Namibia. It is a smooth descent and then when the pilot tries to extend landing gear, the don't deploy! The aircraft lost control because the landing gear mechanism was activated and it broke off and hit the control wires of the aircraft. Now the plane is in an out-of-control stage. Is starts to back up from the pilots' hard work of trying to control the plane again but the aircraft smashes the earth with nose and does it pretty slowly. Both pilots killed instantly. Out of 49 passengers, 3 die instantly. The other parts of the fuselage smash the earth in a vertical stage. The engines and wings fall off. Firefighters and ambulances arrive, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation helicopter watches the wrecked aircraft. As soon as the medics and firefighters try to pull out some passengers, the plane catches immediate fire and the plane explodes. 51 people killed that were on the plane in total. 33 die on ground.
