The Centurions was an animated series that captured the imaginations of children in the 1980s with its high-octane blend of science fiction, action, and adventure. Produced by Ruby-Spears Productions, the show centered around a team of elite special forces soldiers who were equipped with advanced exosuits, allowing them to become the ultimate human-machine hybrids.

The series introduced us to three main characters: Jake Mako, Max Reiger, and Ace McCloud. These Centurions were stationed in a futuristic Sky Vault and tasked with defending Earth from the evil machinations of Doctor Terror. Doctor Terror, a cybernetic villain with a penchant for world domination, was always devising new and nefarious plans to conquer the planet.

The Centurions' most distinctive ability was their capacity to merge with various weapon systems, known as Attack Systems. With a thunderous cry of Power Extreme!, they could combine their exosuits with these systems, granting them incredible powers and abilities tailored to specific missions. For instance, Jake could become the Earth Centurion, with the ability to manipulate the ground and create earthquakes. Max could transform into the Water Centurion, controlling the oceans and generating powerful water blasts. And Ace could take to the skies as the Air Centurion, commanding the winds and flying at supersonic speeds.
