Spool Connector for Filament Spool Display Hanger Free 3D print model

So, as we build the tower of empty spools up, it seems evident that we would need a way to ensure the stack remains stable vertically and still be able to rotate as needed.

Hence, here's a quick spool connector piece which hopefully should do just that!

This was designed as a compressible, spring-like piece that goes snuggly into the central hollow of the filament spools.

Once printed, just need to slot it into the spool from the top, shimmy it into place and with one edge against the diameter of the spool and compress the other end until it pops into place!

Now the upper spool would have a protruding circular 'tab' which can be slotted into the inner circle of the lower spool!

From there, just add on the display hanger quads as you like and build up your cybertronian carpark upwards safely! =)
