Well done mccarthy! Really great model! Maybe just one thing from a sales point of view- just screengrab a wireframe, doesnt even have to be a render just a screenshot. I know i dont buy models where i cant see the wire as a rule. I think you created a fantastic model and are clearly very good at what you do - happy sales!

A nice model, but the textures are very difficult to work with. Confusing and inefficient UV layouts, with no wireframes provided, and AO already baked onto the base colour maps make it very difficult to tweak colours . Fine if the provided textures are perfect for your scene, but requires a lot of extra work if you want to make even small changes.

You can view all my work on: https://sketchfab.com/joshuawatt811 If you have substance painter, i can provide that file which will make it much easier to work with. Also, there are two shaders for the weapon which could be whats tripping you up on the UV's.

The base colour textures on your sketchfab page are different to the ones that I downloaded here, and actually look much more useful to me. How might I obtain them without buying this product twice? My problem with the UVs is that I'm trying to recolour different parts of the model by hand in Photoshop, and this is hard to do when the polygons are dispersed randomly across the map.

I would highly recommend you invest in Substance Painter, not only can you paint onto the model itself but it takes 1/10th of the time to texture. It cuts out all the tedious stuff that your going through too. Other than that, the textures should be identical on both sites, just lit under different conditions.

Here's a side by side comparison of the Sketchfab base colour texture (screencapped from the 2D preview) and the one I downloaded from here (scaled down and cropped): https://imgur.com/a/I6yjRvT As you can see, the CG trader one (right) has much more contrast, with a very dark and overpowering AO layer.
