Description

This is a highly accurate 3d model of the classic chesterfield sofa. All modeling was done in Blender, and the basic texturing in Substance Painter. All Blender materials are of the PBR workflow (PBR metallic-roughness).

The model without subdivisions has 260.150 polys and 263.061 verts. You'll get a .blend file with packed textures and .fbx and obj. files for use in other software (ex. Autodesk apps).

All model's parts are grouped under the name Chesterfield for easy appending/linking. The blender model is parented to an empty for easier manipulation and placement. The .spp (Substance Painter) file is also provided for exporting textures for other apps.

All renders were made with Cycles.

CAUTION: Before using the blend file via linking/appending, you're advised to better unpack all texture files to a folder (go to File=>External Data=>Unpack Resources) if texturing issues occur.

WARNING: The model is textured with high quality 4k textures (png-16bit) and during rendering it can consume a lot of RAM, so be sure to use this model on a computer with at least 16gb of RAM and 8gb of Vram, if you use Cycles gpu rendering.

Update! A 3ds max 2022+Vray 6 version has been added with the use of PBR textures from SP (see preview image). Enjoy!
