Female Space Suit 3D Model

Female Space Suit 3D Model Low-poly 3D model

Description

Female Space Suit Character model - Midpoly and Highpoly

The character comes in 2 versions: A highpoly version for close-up shots / high-quality renders, and a midpoly version to be placed in larger scenes or for use in game development. You can disable the helmet or make the visor translucent if you want to use your own animated character head (e.g. a Metahuman character) for your shots.

If you only need the MIDPOLY version, you can get it here: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/character/sci-fi/midpoly-female-astronaut-3d-model

Includes 3 different texture versions: White, Yellow and Orange. The normal map was baked from a high poly sculpt. All textures are in 4K.

The character comes with a simple rig (Mixamo), so you can easily apply mocap animations from Mixamo, or retarget to any other animation data. The character is weightpainted so the rig holds up for most animation purposes. If you need more extreme body deformations you might have to use blend shapes. Also, if you need more realistic animations (like bendy bones for the tubes or cloth animation for the belts), you might have to adjust the rig.

The skeletons in the Unreal Engine 5 project file are already retargeted. You just need to apply your animations and you are ready to go.

Description of the packages in more detail:

----- Blender 2.83 Package -----

Midpoly Character in A-pose:

• 82k Faces, 170k Tris

• Rigged with Mixamo

• Clean Topology, Weightpainting and UV layout

• Hand-painted PBR textures in PNG format. Base Color, Metallic, Roughness, Normal, Ambient Occlusion (packed in unreal PBR format)

• One texture set for the Suit (4K resolution)

• One texture set for the Helmet (4K resolution)

• One texture set for the Belts (4K resolution)

• One texture set for the Hardsurface details (4K resolution)

Highpoly Character in A-pose:

• 168k Faces, 342k Tris. You can apply a subdivision modifier on the suit mesh for an even smoother look (which would increase the polycount to 419k Faces, 842k Tris)

• Higher details in the cloth wrinkles and hardsurface areas

• Rigged with Mixamo

• Clean Topology, Weightpainting and UV layout

• Uses the same materials and textures as the lower resolution model

----- Unreal Engine 5 Package -----

• Complete UE5 project with all characters, materials (including material instances) and textures.

• Material instances allow for quick adjustments for Base color brightness and the intensity of metallic, roughness and normal maps.

• You can just open up the project and migrate the character to your own project – no additional setup needed!

• Retargeted to the Epic mannequin skeleton

• Animations are not included in this package

----- Other formats -----

• FBX files

• OBJ files

----- Rendering info -----

The preview images were rendered in Blender 2.83 Cycles, partly with HDRIs as background. I used the highpoly version for the renders. The screenshot from UE was captured in UE5.

Thanks for the great 3D model! I use this with Cinema 4D and Redshift. I used Mixamo for rigging and it works perfectly. I like high-poly version.
