DESCRIPTION

Smibnor, Count Crapula and Pant, three characters who appear in my 3D animation OneyPlays Animated - The Hosts I Hate the Most, an adaptation of Fartulons, the 48th episode of Chris, Ding Dong and Julian's playthrough of Kingdom Hearts. Smibnor and Pant were made up by Chris O'Neill's former co-hosts Ding Dong and Julian, whereas Count Crapula is a wholly unique character made specifically for the cartoon.

Smibnor is the tallest of the three, with his design being directly inspired by his official design from the video: a rough, childish drawing made by the episode's editor, CameraColossus. I was aiming to make him as unpleasant on the outside as he is on the inside. Lots of design cues were taken from reptiles, insects, and crustaceans. He is also covered head to toe in bristly, grotesque hairs resembling those of an arachnid or a crab. His mouth is disgusting, and has a hemispherical jaw and quivering teeth. In place of nipples, he has unsightly appendages that I like to call fingerteats; he has six of them. His somewhat crab-like claw hands are lined with horrible fingers that allow him to use his gun, play video games, and point at Julian as he directs homophic slurs at him. He is 2.42 meters tall with an arm span of 3.35 meters wide, making him tower over the 2.14 m tall Ding Dong and the 1.73 m tall Chris and Julian. He has about 70,778 polygons including his gun, cape, skull and brain, and he has a full facial rig. His 4k texture, normal and roughness map were baked from a combination of both a largely procedural shader and a multiresolution sculpt, and were enhanced even further using Substance Painter.

Count Crapula is an entirely new character created specifically for the video. His model was based directly off of the animatics I made for the cartoon, though in the animatic he has glasses and a cape. His design is supposed to be like Count Orlok mixed with a 1920's rubber hose cartoon, with a little bit of 1970's cartoon as well. He has 43,654 polygons and 4k textures baked from procedurals, which were refined further using Substance Painter. His body is fully rigged, but unlike my other models, he has very simple facial rig driven by a set of control bones above his head. He's rather short, standing at 1.35 meters tall not including his hair.

Pant is the absolute smallest character model I have ever made, being only 2 inches tall in Blender units. In the thumbnail, he's only visible as a tiny speck to Smibnor's left. Of all of the characters in the cartoon, he also has the most simple rig, with his arms and legs being just bendy bones without elbow or knee joints. His texture maps are only 1024x1024, with a tiled vein texture. He also boasts the smallest polycount of the three characters, a measly 7,644.

Feel free to use these models as long as credit is given to me for creating the models, and to Ding Dong, Julian and CameraColossus for creating the characters. Just don't redistribute them or use them for porn! You can also improve upon or modify the rigs however you please!
