Simba is the central character of Disney's The Lion King franchise. As the son of Mufasa and Sarabi, he is destined to be king of the Pride Lands. However, his jealous uncle, Scar, orchestrates a plot that leads to Mufasa's death and convinces a young Simba that it was his fault. Filled with guilt, Simba flees and grows up in exile with his new friends, Timon and Pumbaa, living by their hakuna matata philosophy.
