An animated skeleton is an important hostile denizen in open world fantasy game, and I found this model extraordinary for that purpose. There was an odd issue with the object file, however. This model's .obj file had all negative f values, such as '-2389/-862/-4003 -2388/-861/-4002 -2391/-860/-4001 -2390/-859/-4000'. These values should all be 1 or higher. Fortunately I was able to fix this programmatically by adding the total number of position, texture, and normal values to that point to the appropriate coordinate in the f triplet. As for the model, it is very detailed with an almost metallic texture that lights very well. Animating it in a lit environment such as gives a nice 3D effect, particularly with the ribs. This modeler didn't take any short cuts. The object file's v, vt, vn, and f values are nicely separated by body parts which makes implementing effects like walking, swinging a sword, or bones coming apart a lot easier. It also includes separate .obj files for poses such as standing, sitting, or laying down which also came in handy for OpenGL. As there isn't armor or other accessories with this model, only one texture/color file was needed for each pose. With 41028 vertices, it draws fast for such high high detail. For an armored version of a skeleton I'd recommend 'Skeleton Footman Light Version', also from this modeler. I'd also recommend the '3 Smart Ancient Trees'. They make for a creepy forest effect when placed randomly for a character traversing with a lantern.
