Qianzhousaurus sinensis was a theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 72 to 66 million years ago. Measuring up to 8 meters (26 feet) in length, it was characterized by its elongated snout and slender, lightweight build, leading to its nickname Pinocchio rex. Qianzhousaurus had sharp teeth and was likely a fast and agile predator. Its fossils have been found in China, contributing significantly to our understanding of the diversity and specialization of theropod dinosaurs in Asia.
