Firstly, our vision is to allow 3D artists to earn from their talent. That is it. And that is why.

A story of CGTrader is simple. Online 3D modelling marketplaces have completely bothered us some time ago. Every creator there is being charged as much as 60 percent per sale. Few of the marketplaces even do not allow you to sell your models for other places. Of course, we tried to find some better marketplaces. And, of course, we failed.

Our solution was simply to start our own shop. Then we realised that problem was not only ours. Thousands of 3D artists had the same one. So we decided to run not just a plain shop. We have challenged ourselves to make an intense marketplace where authors can sell 3D models and make living from it. We are ought to increase their motivation and to raise the quality of 3D objects to its best.

Marius Kalytis | CEO  info@cgtrader.com
Marius is a master in a field of 3D design in the office. He has been involved  in this sphere for almost 10 years already. Marius is a founder and for six years the CEO of 3D visualization and animation company Visual Mind. He works wit CGTrader since the beginning. Also, is resolved to make this platform the biggest 3D model marketplace worldwide. Graphics and animation become his hobby and passion. By the way, he brings cake to the office sometimes.

Donatas Aksomitas | Angel Investor
Donatas has been using a programme of AutoCAD in times when it was not so common. He started in 1992. Two years later he became an AutoCAD instructor and certified expert. Since 2005, he served as CEO and shareholder of AGA-CAD Ltd. Actually, he was one of very first people to believe in a global 3D object marketplace to democratize the whole market.

He is devoted to the web development. Karolis has started programming professionally 7 years ago. Any bugs that are spotted or new features that are brought to his attention are developed quickly and with high quality. Karolis joined CGTrader team in 2011 in order to create a convenient platform. He is always deeply involved in a process, but when he wants coffee, he goes to the kitchen and realise everyday that his mug is lost.

Edmundas is a web designer and developer. He, indeed, knows the most difficult languages of computers. Edmundas was used to work with non-profit projects earlier. He still wants to cause some changes, so because of that he came to the marketplace and chose CGTrader. The best birthday present – ‘Apple’. Does not know what to do, while waited for a computer to load in.

Irmantas was working on several great projects before joining a team of CGTrader. He is a promising programmer willing to take few steps further and to work with projects that really have a meaning. Irmantas is extremely passionate, possess needful experience and strong mind what is highly important part he gives to a team. Everyday his computer screen is full of codes what seems absolutely mysterious.

The very first woman in a team. She knows what and how. Dalia studied Business and Finance.But her passion is entrepreneurship: especially working with new companies and innovative products. Dalia has joined a team as a person responsible for marketing not a long time ago , but feels like at  home. Despite that she highly enjoys travelling and living in   different cities.

Viktorija Samarinaite | Copywriter

Viktorija is mostly responsible for the words, while others are lost between numbers, counting and designs. She studied journalism. But now is responsible for the virtual community building and all the contents of CGTrader. Viktorija is the freshiest member of a team. So still tries to blow some winds of creativity to the office.
