Textures come in an efficient channle packed format, as well as individual textures to fit any workflow.**\n\n\nHow Vader was created:\n\nWe dove into a plethora of behind-the-scenes photos, documentaries, museum exhibits, and several re-watches of ROTJ. All to make this model the most accurate it could be.\n\nTo create the model we started with a body double for David Prowse, generated with the Human Generator plugin for Blender. From there I blocked in the hard surface elements. With those landmarks set I began sewing and simulating the leather bodysuit, and gloves. After the suit came the cape and robe, which were extremely easy to simulate, retopo and pose thanks to Blenders Surface Deform Modifier.\nWith soft surfaces done, I went back to the blackout and polished off the armor and electrical boxes.\n\nOnce the high poly was constructed and looked perfect for the client, I began the VR-ready versions.  Since this is a VR Chat avatar we did 2 versions: The main, best looking, and more intensive avatar; and the Fallback, a paired down resource cheap avatar.\n\nWith this UV'd, retopoed and rigged, I brought the High Poly and the Main VR avatar into substance to bake, sculpt and paint the remaining details. This is where we went above and beyond on screen accurate details, some of which are only identifiable through rare behind-the-scenes photos from ROTJ.\n\nBoth our avatars performed well in VRChat, And for the helmet, I mainly took aspects from empire strikes back, star wars: rebels, and clone wars. \n\nThis model is fully rigged and ready to be made into art or animations of your creation. The legs are setup as IK while everything else is FK. Included also, is a video on how to use the cape for those of you who are not familiar with working with the physics tab.\n\nIn addition, I exported this model into several formats. Which include OBJ,FBX,DAE,3DS,Blender 2.82, and yes Blender 2.79. I put into two different versions of blender since the formats are very different so you can have the option of choosing which one you want to use.
