Designed to be moved across difficult terrain, gun and carriage could be broken down into several pieces to be carried by pack animals.\nThe gun saw combat in World War II with the United States Army (primarily used by airborne units), with the United States Marine Corps, and was also supplied to foreign forces.\nIn addition to the pack / air portable configuration, the gun was mounted on a conventional carriage to serve as a field artillery piece. The M2 and M3 are derived vehicle-mounted howitzers used in the 75 mm HMC M8 and some LVT models. In addition, the M1 in its original version was mated to a number of other self-propelled carriages, though only one of those – 75 mm HMC T30 – reached mass production.\nThe 75 mm pack howitzer was designed in the United States in the 1920s to meet a need for an artillery piece that could be moved across difficult terrain. Development began in 1920, and in August 1927, the weapon was standardized as howitzer, pack, 75mm M1 on carriage M1. Due to meager funding, production rates were very low; by 1933, only 32 guns had been manufactured, and by 1940, only 91 pieces. It was not until September 1940 that the howitzer was put into mass production. By then, the M1 had been succeeded by the slightly modified M1A1. Although it was soon overtaken by improvements in aircraft technology and was largely obsolete by 1941, it continued to be used on many fronts until the end of the war.The Type 88 75 mm AA gun was based on an exhaustive evaluation by the Army Technical Bureau of several existing overseas designs, amalgamating some of the best features from each design (especially from the World War I-vintage British Vickers QF 3 inch 20 cwt AA gun) into a new, Japanese design. After the Versailles Treaty, the Japanese switched to the French Schneider company, and purchased numerous examples for test and evaluation. The crew was protected by an armoured shield. There was a mountain gun variant, the 7.5 cm le.GebIG 18. For transport, the mountain variant could be broken down into six to ten packs, the heaviest weighing 74.9 kg. These were typically assigned at two to each mountain battalion. Six 7.5 cm le.IG 18F were manufactured in 1939. These were airborne guns, capable of being broken down into four 140 kg loads. The airborne variant had smaller wheels and no shield. There was also an infantry support gun, known as the 7.5 cm Infanteriegeschütz L/13 and designed as a replacement for the le.IG 18, which could be broken into four to six loads. However, though prototypes were tested, the German army felt that it did not improve on the existing design sufficiently to merit introduction and the army stayed with the earlier gun.","imageAlt":"3D model 75mm Light Infantry Gun 18","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/75mm-light-infantry-gun-18","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/olybzfvu9ylmz8v8era7ez94mjs9/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/1.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/olybzfvu9ylmz8v8era7ez94mjs9/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/1.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/75mm-light-infantry-gun-18","isCgtVerified":true,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/6005293/1673c2662a/75mm-light-infantry-gun-18-3d-model-1673c2662a.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"2913103","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2913103,"title":"M3 GMC 75mm Halftrack","price":12.0,"description":"- M3 GMC 75mm Halftrack Lowpoly 3D model\n\n- Rar file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl\n\n- Seperated doors and parts\n\n- Blender 2.91.0\n\n- Textured with substance painter\n\n- 2k textures\n\n- Pictures rendered in cycle engine\n\n- Vertices:8876\n\n- Faces:7480\n\n- Tris:14595\n\nDescription:The M3 Gun Motor Carriage (GMC) was a United States Army tank destroyer equipped with a 75 mm M1897A4 gun, which was built by the Autocar Company during World War II.\n\nAfter observing the new and often decisive, uses of armored vehicles on both sides during the French campaign of 1940, the US Army decided that it required a 75 mm self-propelled gun, based on the chassis of the M3 Half-track. This was initially known as the T12. However, after the addition of features such as the gun shield from the M2A3 (a carriage for the M1897A4), the new vehicle entered production under the name M3 Gun Motor Carriage (or M3 GMC). Because the number of M2A3 gun shields available was insufficient for the M3 GMC order, a new gun shield was designed. Variants featuring the new shield were designated M3A1 GMC.\n\nThe T12/M3 first served in the Philippines Campaign in 1942 with the Provisional Field Artillery Brigade in the anti-tank and the fire-support role. It then served in North Africa in tank destroyer battalions. It was used ineffectively in the Battle of Kasserine Pass and several other engagements, but was used with success in the Battle of El Guettar. It also served in the Allied invasion of Sicily, but was eventually superseded by the M10 tank destroyer. A total of 2,203 were produced, of which 1,361 were converted back into M3A1 half-tracks.\n\nThe M3 GMC also served in the Pacific theater, starting with the Battle of Saipan. It proved effective against the Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 97 Chi-Ha tanks. It later served in the Battle of Okinawa, the Battle of Peleliu and many other island battles.","imageAlt":"3D model M3 GMC 75mm Halftrack","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/m3-gmc-75mm-halftrack","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/j4555JcGLo4RWD3XqbX7vYTi/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/6.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/j4555JcGLo4RWD3XqbX7vYTi/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/6.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/m3-gmc-75mm-halftrack","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2913103/48dead373c/m3-gmc-75mm-halftrack-3d-model-48dead373c.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"5568963","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":5568963,"title":"Type 38 75mm field gun","price":40.0,"description":"Type 38 75 mm field gun\n\nZIP file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl\n\nCentered (in right place) and Seperated parts\n\nBlender 4.0.0\n\nTextured with substance painter (Basecolor , AO , Metalness , Roughness , Normal)\n\n1 Set of material and 4 Texture (green , brown , winter , burned)\n\n7 Seperated Objects\n\n4k Texture \n\nPictures rendered in Cycles engine\n\nVertices:23,423\n\nFaces:23,227\n\nTris: 40,437\n\nDescription:The Type 38 75 mm field gun was a 1905 German design which was purchased by the Empire of Japan as the standard field gun of the Imperial Japanese Army at the end of the Russo-Japanese War. With 23,303 examples produced, the Pak 40 formed the backbone of German anti-tank guns for the later part of World War II, mostly in towed form, but also on a number of tank destroyers such as the Marder series.\n\nA modified version of the gun designed specifically for vehicle-mounting was the 7.5 cm KwK 40, which differed primarily in using more compact ammunition, thereby allowing more rounds to be carried inside the vehicles. The KwK 40 armed many of the German mid-war tank and destroyer designs, replacing the Pak 40 in the latter role.\n\nDepending on the source, the Pak 40 may be referred to as the 7.5/L46, referring to the barrel's length in calibres. There were two versions of the KwK 40, which would be referred to as the 7.5/L43 or 7.5/L48. \"","imageAlt":"3D model Low Poly 7 5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40 Anti Tank","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/low-poly-7-5-cm-panzerabwehrkanone-40-anti-tank-gun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/aD5HFJQ42tqe164tfquWjtq4/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/pak_40_title.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/aD5HFJQ42tqe164tfquWjtq4/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/pak_40_title.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/low-poly-7-5-cm-panzerabwehrkanone-40-anti-tank-gun","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2357277/389861bb14/low-poly-7-5-cm-panzerabwehrkanone-40-anti-tank-gun-3d-model-389861bb14.webp","saleOffDiscount":50,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":true}},{"id":"4430395","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":4430395,"title":"leIG 18","price":9.0,"description":"- High-quality textures: 1024x1024\n- Model is scaled correctly\n- Textures complete -Albedo map, Normal map.\n- File complete - .fbx .obj .max .blend\n- Textures - .png\n","imageAlt":"leIG 18 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/leig-18-252be8c0-09ce-4535-ad5a-a3e156ed774d","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BVXwY7JkHsWUFpK78DtNU7v9/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/1.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BVXwY7JkHsWUFpK78DtNU7v9/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/1.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/leig-18-252be8c0-09ce-4535-ad5a-a3e156ed774d","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":17,"name":".max","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/4430395/9cb0a6998a/leig-18-3d-model-9cb0a6998a.webp","saleOffDiscount":50,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":true}},{"id":"3959592","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3959592,"title":"Type 5 Na-To Self-Propelled AT Gun","price":40.0,"description":"Type 5 Na-To Self-Propelled AT Gun Lowpoly 3D model\n\nRar file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl ,dae,STL\n\nCentered (in right place) and Seperated parts\n\nBlender 3.2.0\n\nTextured with substance painter\n\n3 Set of material and Texture(Base,Track,ATgun)\n\n2 Colors (Khaki-Brown , Green )\n\n2k textures (1k for tracks and AT gun)\n\nPictures rendered in Cycles engine\n\nVertices:34,309\n\nFaces:34,081\n\nTris: 58,183\n\nDescription:The Type 5 Na-To , officially known as the Experimental 7.5cm self-propelled anti-tank gun Na-Towas the penultimate tank destroyer developed by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1945, during the closing stages of World War II.\nTowards the end of the Pacific War, Japanese field commanders realized that nothing in the inventory of the Japanese Army would be able to withstand the increasingly advanced tanks and armored vehicles fielded by the Allies, and that a more powerful version of the Type 3 Ho-Ni III was necessary. Development was rushed through on a new design, which was completed in 1945. The Japanese Army immediately issued an order for 200 units to be completed in 1945. However, by that time production was impossible due to material shortages, and by the bombing of Japan in World War II, and testing was not yet completed by the end of the war.The Type 5 Na-To made use of the chassis and superstructure of the Type 4 Chi-So armored medium tracked carrier. The superstructure had an open top and rear, with an enclosed armored drivers cab. For the Type 5 Na-To there was added a \"shielded platform\" for its main gun. Its main anti-tank armament consisted of a Type 5 75 mm tank gun, which was the same gun mounted in the Type 4 Chi-To medium tank. The gun was a variant of the Japanese Type 4 75mm AA Gun.","imageAlt":"Type 5 Na-To Self-Propelled AT Gun 3D model realtime","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/type-5-na-to-self-propelled-at-gun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/irtPF31cTQc6RPvLY4DR7a8i/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/8.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/irtPF31cTQc6RPvLY4DR7a8i/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/8.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/type-5-na-to-self-propelled-at-gun","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3959592/0bdb401d8d/type-5-na-to-self-propelled-at-gun-3d-model-0bdb401d8d.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"2873895","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2873895,"title":"75mm Heel Last","price":7.0,"description":"75mm Heel Forma Size No. 8 \n\nshoe last\n\n*this is new design\n\nOriginally created with nx uggraghics\n\nAll preview images are rendered with nx\n\nLights and cameras are not included in the file.\n\ncolorways not included but can be achieved using mask textures included in the file\n\n*and please check out my other model\n\n*I also attach an .stl , .xt , .iges , .step and .mtl file","imageAlt":null,"url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/industrial/industrial-part/75mm-heel-last","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BT4c9ifUApFj5v1ujzT1zjGz/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/C%20-%20Copy.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BT4c9ifUApFj5v1ujzT1zjGz/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/C%20-%20Copy.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/industrial/industrial-part/75mm-heel-last","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":true,"pbr":true,"rigged":true,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":72,"name":".stp","is_native":false},{"id":71,"name":".iam","is_native":false},{"id":29,"name":".ige","is_native":false},{"id":59,"name":".sldprt","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"industrial","subcategorySlug":"industrial-part","categoryTitle":"Industrial","subcategoryTitle":"Part","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2873895/b41813e784/75mm-heel-last-3d-model-b41813e784.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":true}},{"id":"4653571","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":4653571,"title":"Animetrd Lowpoly Game Ready French 15-mm World war 2 Cannon","price":8.0,"description":"Experience the World War 2 French 15-mm Cannon 3D Model - a meticulously crafted, low-poly, game-ready masterpiece.
