The Type 89 designation was given to this gun as it was accepted in the year 2589 of the Japanese calendar (1929) It was widely used from the Manchurian Incident to the end of World War II, for example, Nomonhan, Bataan and Corregidor Island, Okinawa. The Type 89 15 cm gun was comparable to the U.S. M1918 155 mm GPF cannon, but it was less efficient than some similar heavy-caliber guns of other nations in World War II. Limitations notwithstanding, the Type 89 15 cm cannon was easier to transport and set up than other Japanese heavy artillery pieces. The gun had the split-box type trail with detachable spades and a single-axle gun carriage. The traversing hand wheel and the scale were located on the left side of the carriage. The elevation scale, the range drum, and the sight were on the right side of the carriage. It fired a shell considerably heavier than that used in the 150 mm howitzer. The Japanese were sufficiently satisfied with this gun to provide it with a fixed mount for siege use in 1930, but as a heavy field piece it had certain definite limitations. Traveling in two loads, it took longer to emplace than some weapons of corresponding caliber in other modern armies and yet it was outranged by all of them. However, long-range 15 cm cannons which broke down into two loads were not unique to Japan during World War II.","imageAlt":null,"url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-89-15-cm-cannon","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/abDNuRgKeKbjHhVxUAVRLu8W/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/untitled.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/abDNuRgKeKbjHhVxUAVRLu8W/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/untitled.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-89-15-cm-cannon","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/5684150/f6c952bcdf/type-89-15-cm-cannon-3d-model-f6c952bcdf.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"3115841","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3115841,"title":"Low Poly 15cm Nebelwerfer 41 rocket artillery","price":15.0,"description":"**Lowpoly Model of WW2 15cm Nebelwerfer 41 German Artillery**\n\nModel contains real details and proportions. The Germans were inspired by the principle of operation of the Russian launcher Katioucha to develop the Nebelwerfer and it can be used directly by the infantry.\n\nThe first models of Nebelwerfer were deployed on the front in March 1940. They can fire explosive rockets (150 mm Wurfgranate) and smoke (150 mm Wurfgranate 41 WRH Nebel) at nearly 7,000 meters.\n\nUsed on the Russian front, they are also used by the Germans throughout the battle of Normandy. The Allies manage to recognize the characteristic sound of firing and the deafening whistling of rockets in the air, which plays a psychological role that is not negligible. By collecting the Nebelwerfer, the Germans manage to saturate the ground of a hundred rockets in just a few seconds.\n\nSeveral models are created, such as the 41 and the 42, which have five or six tubes according to the caliber used.\"\n\n**I declare that I am the author of the presented model, all elements have been modeled and textured by me based on publicly available references.**\n\n","imageAlt":"Low Poly 15cm Nebelwerfer 41 rocket 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/rocketry/low-poly-15cm-nebelwerfer-41-rocket-artillery","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/Em96w7eVTu4uPviwFanoeoeE/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/Nebelwerfer_01_Title%20copy.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/Em96w7eVTu4uPviwFanoeoeE/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/Nebelwerfer_01_Title%20copy.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/rocketry/low-poly-15cm-nebelwerfer-41-rocket-artillery","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"rocketry","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Rocketry","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3115841/af10f0baac/low-poly-15cm-nebelwerfer-41-rocket-artillery-3d-model-af10f0baac.webp","saleOffDiscount":40,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"2876837","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2876837,"title":"15 Cm Nebelwerfer 41 Rocket artillery","price":12.0,"description":"- 15 Cm Nebelwerfer 41 Rocket artillery Low_poly 3D model\n\n- Rar file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl\n\n- Separated Parts\n\n- Blender 2.91.0\n\n- Textured with substance painter\n\n- 2K Texture\n\n- Pictures rendered in cycle engine\n\n- Vertices:3705\n\n- Faces:3574\n\n- Tris:6534\n\nDescription:The 21 cm Nebelwerfer 42 (21 cm NbW 42) was a German multiple rocket launcher used in the Second World War. Guns turned over to Belgium as reparations after World War I were taken into Wehrmacht service after the conquest of Belgium as the 15 cm K 429(b). It generally served on coast-defense duties during World War II. \nThe K 16 was a thoroughly conventional design for its day with a box trail, steel wheels for motor transport and a curved gunshield. The axle was suspended on a traverse leaf spring. For transport the barrel was generally detached from the recoil system and moved on its own trailer. This protected little more than the gun and the gunner himself from small arms fire and shell fragments, the loaders being completely exposed. The rearmost section of armor was hinged to ease reloading.\n\nThere was no room to stow any ammunition, so it had to be carried by a separate vehicle. When mounted, the sIG 33 had a total traverse of 25° and could elevate from -4° to +75°. The gun used an Rblf36 sight. The chassis was overloaded and breakdowns were frequent. The vehicle's extreme height and lack of on-board ammunition were severe tactical drawbacks.\n\nThirty-eight were produced in February 1940 by Alkett.\"\n","imageAlt":"Low Poly 15 cm sIG 33 Sf on PzIB 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/military-vehicle/low-poly-15-cm-sig-33-sf-on-pzib","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BgPiLcFsBjg4NnrKsyoY7oh9/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/Sig15_05_Title%20copy.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/BgPiLcFsBjg4NnrKsyoY7oh9/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/Sig15_05_Title%20copy.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/military-vehicle/low-poly-15-cm-sig-33-sf-on-pzib","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"vehicle","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Vehicle","subcategoryTitle":"Military","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2083601/8fc6c0847a/low-poly-15-cm-sig-33-sf-on-pzib-3d-model-8fc6c0847a.webp","saleOffDiscount":40,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"2925225","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2925225,"title":"15cm SK C28 naval gun - version 1","price":15.0,"description":"This was secondary armament on Bismarck and Scharnhorst class battleships, Deutschland class cruisers and Graf-Zeppelin class carriers. The root of this gun was the 1930's Experimental fixed 10,5 cm AA gun, which had a 65 calibre barrel and semi automatic loading system. The AA gun barrel was attached to a 15cm Type 96 howitzer as a new field cannon and tested. Because it was high velocity AA gun, its maximum range was quite far, more than 20 km. The cannon was completed at almost the same time as the 15cm Type 96 Howitzer, but was abandoned. It came back in 1943, by the requirement of powerful anti tank guns for use against new Allied heavy tanks. Higher penetration for this gun was therefore required. Because of the guns 10,5cm shell, its anti-tank performance is very dramatic. It can be effective against not only sloped armour medium tanks, but also new Allied heavy tanks. Testing with this gun against the Super Pershing has shown us how powerful this gun is. It can destroy the tank with only one hit to the front. Indirect firing performance is also quite good with its velocity and accuracy.","imageAlt":"3D model Experimental 10cm AT Gun","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/experimental-10cm-at-gun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/sxd5bxs5oobhmuril8papom1zedk/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/1.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/sxd5bxs5oobhmuril8papom1zedk/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/1.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/experimental-10cm-at-gun","isCgtVerified":true,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/6720226/b26afc9e53/experimental-10cm-at-gun-3d-model-b26afc9e53.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":null}},{"id":"4058765","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":4058765,"title":"Type 99 10cm Mountain Gun","price":40.0,"description":"Type 99 10cm Mountain Gun Lowpoly 3D model\n\nRar file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl ,dae,STL\n\nCentered (in right place) and Seperated parts\n\nBlender 3.2.0\n\nTextured with substance painter\n\n1 Set of material and Texture\n\n2 Colors (Khaki-Brown , Green )\n\n2k texture\n\nPictures rendered in Cycles engine\n\nVertices:15,063\n\nFaces:14,928\n\nTris: 25,601\n\nDescription:The Type 99 10 cm Mountain Gun was a mountain gun used by the Imperial Japanese Army in the Second Sino-Japanese War and during the Pacific War of 1939-1945 became. The designation Type 99 points to the year of development, the year Koki 2599 or 1939 according to the Gregorian calendar. The Type 99 was the successor to the Type 94 75 mm mountain gun , which was produced in large numbers by Japanese standards . Although the Type 94 was a robust and popular gun, its shells lacked explosive power due to the 75mm calibre. For this reason, a 105 mm caliber mountain gun was developed in 1938, officially accepted into the troops in 1939 and produced by the Osaka Arsenal from 1940 . A special feature of the Type 99 was its low weight. Compared to guns of the same caliber, e.g. the Type 91 10 cm Howitzer , which weighed 1500 kg, the Type 99 only weighed 830 kg. The weight reduction could be achieved by using the special Type 100 light HE grenade (HE =High Explosive was used, which used a three -part propellant charge . In total, the shell including propellant weighed 12.6 kg, compared to the Type 94 shell, which weighed 6.4 kg, almost twice as much. The Type 99 was easily and quickly dismantled into several parts and could be transported by seven or ten pack animals, but had a short range of around 5500 meters, which severely limited its possible uses. Only 132 Type 99s were produced. An unusual spar (in the shape of a tuning fork ) with a spur at the endwas, gave the gun stability when firing. The metal shield attached for protection had a thickness of 3 mm.\nThe Type 99 remained in service until the end of the war in 1945","imageAlt":"Type 99 10cm Mountain Gun 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-99-10cm-mountain-gun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/24vYCGB2KQ6jX2EKGSpPcR77/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/13.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/24vYCGB2KQ6jX2EKGSpPcR77/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/13.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-99-10cm-mountain-gun","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":215,"name":".png","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/4058765/a13cfa50b5/type-99-10cm-mountain-gun-3d-model-a13cfa50b5.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"2364320","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2364320,"title":"Low Poly 10 5 cm leichte Feldhaubitze Anti Tank Gun","price":15.0,"description":"**Low Poly model of german WW2 10.5 cm leFH 18 Light Howitzer**\n\n**Model contains real details and proportions. 2048x2048 textures included: -Color maps -psd (AO, camo, decals on separated layers, specular on Alpha channel) 2k,1k (wheels) -Normal maps 2k,1k -Emission map for lights . At least 22,133 examples were produced.\n\nDesigned in the late 1920s, it represented a major advance on its predecessor the 10.5 cm leFH 16. It was superior in caliber to its early opponents in the war, with adequate range and firepower, but the modern split trail gun carriage that provided it with more stability and traverse also rendered it overly heavy for a mobile role in the largely horse-drawn artillery battalions of the German army, particularly in the mud and snow of the Eastern Front.\n\nThe leFH 18 was further developed as the leFH 18M and leFH 18/40. Beginning in 1942, self-propelled versions were created by fitting the howitzer on a Panzer II, a H35, Char B1 or 37L chassis. Textures can be used in unlit mode**\n\n\"The Type 92 10 cm cannon was developed from 1923–1924, as a long range alternative to the Imperial Japanese Army's existing 75 mm field artillery. Production was delayed due to technical issues, notably a desire by the army to reduce the weight of the weapon to a minimal level, and additional requirements issued by the army in 1927 to increase the range of the yet-to-be-completed weapon to 17,500 metres (19,100 yd). A suitable prototype was finally completed in 1932, and, after extensive testing, went into production and combat service in 1934. A total of 180 units were produced.[6]\n\nThis piece appears to have almost completely replaced the Type 14 10 cm cannon. It has all the standard features of the 1930–1936 period of Japanese gun design. In traveling position the tube is retracted by means of a winch and locked to the cradle. The most remarkable fact about the Type 92, aside from its appearance, is the great range that it attains with a 35-pound shell in proportion to its unusually low weight. It has been reported that the weapon is rarely fired at extreme ranges, which require the use of a supercharge, because of malfunctions in the recoil system caused thereby. Some years ago troubles with the recoil system were so frequent that extra glands and packing for the recoil cylinders were carried in the firing battery, and replacing them was equivalent to first-echelon maintenance in U.S. practice. Difficulties were also reported when the weapon was fired at or near the limits of traverse. Whether this was due to a unique \"bug\" in the design of the Type 92 or was inherent in the use of spade-plate stabilization is not known. The Type 92 is stabilized by three spade plates for each trail. Both spade plates and trail blocks are demountable.\"","imageAlt":"3D asset Low Poly Type 92 10 cm cannon","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/low-poly-type-92-10-cm-cannon","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/3Rg8HGPqh55jHQ6M5LusCZcd/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/Type_92_Title%20copy.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/3Rg8HGPqh55jHQ6M5LusCZcd/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/Type_92_Title%20copy.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/low-poly-type-92-10-cm-cannon","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3179669/ea2e6837c7/low-poly-type-92-10-cm-cannon-3d-model-ea2e6837c7.webp","saleOffDiscount":40,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"5160543","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":5160543,"title":"Type 14 10 cm AA gun","price":40.0,"description":"Type 14 10 cm AA gun\n\nZIP file contain Blendfile, Texture folder , FBX , Obj mtl\n\nCentered (in right place) and Seperated parts \n\nBlender 4.0.0\n\nTextured with substance painter\n\n1 Set of material and Texture \n\n13 Seperated Objects\n\n4k Texture \n\nPictures rendered in Cycles engine\n\nVertices:22,691\n\nFaces:23,568\n\nTris: 41,759\n\nDescription:The Type 14 10 cm AA gun was an anti-aircraft gun used by the Imperial Japanese Army after World War I. The Type 14 number was designated for the year the gun was accepted, the 14th year of Emperor Taishō's reign, 1929 in the Gregorian calendar. Only a small number were produced, and it was superseded by the Type 88 75 mm AA gun in production before the start of World War II.Due to combat experience at the Battle of Tsingtao against the German Luftstreitkrafte’s fledgling squadron of combat aircraft, planners on the Imperial Japanese Army General Staff quickly realized that this new technology posed a threat which required countermeasures. This evaluation was further reinforced by reports from military observers on the European front in World War I.\n\nAfter the introduction of the Type 11 75 mm AA gun into front-line combat service, the Imperial Japanese Army quickly realized that it was underpowered and lacked the range necessary for civil defense of Japanese cities from enemy air raids. A larger version, designated the Type 14 10 cm AA gun was placed into production in 1925. However, it was expensive to produce and lacked accuracy. Only 70 units were completed before production was terminated. All of the Type 14 10 cm AA guns were assigned to the IJA 4th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Division, based in Kyūshū during the Pacific War. Some units were based in Kyūshū cities for defense against American air raids, but most were based at the Yawata Steel Works in Kitakyūshū city.","imageAlt":"3D asset Type 14 10 cm AA gun","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-14-10-cm-aa-gun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/YHYeuzXDbqc3XptM7fMe77vN/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/3.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/YHYeuzXDbqc3XptM7fMe77vN/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/3.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/type-14-10-cm-aa-gun","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":21,"name":".blend","is_native":true},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/5160543/17b2044bd1/type-14-10-cm-aa-gun-3d-model-17b2044bd1.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":true,"subscriptionSubscribed":true,"subscriptionPotential":false,"subscriptionTierBand":"premium"}},{"id":"2086930","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2086930,"title":"Skoda 10 cm K10 - OTO 100-47","price":69.0,"description":"The Skoda 10 cm K10 was a light-calibre 100 mm (4-inch) naval gun of the Austro-Hungarian Navy used as tertiary armament on semi-dreadnought battleships and as primary armament on scout cruisers and destroyers during World War I.
