What started as a tray to keep my SD cards, thumb drives from being scattered all over my desk, I thought I would turn it into a “better looking” sculpt rather than print a tray for a stand . . and so . . . the first of two sculpts Redfox Bath Night1 – Fun with the Cubs. This file contains a topless upper torso and a covered “soaped” torso,as well as an alternative right leg. If you wish just to print the model and not use it for storage a non-detailed lower trunk is provided should you use clear material to print the water lid. Please note if you use the lower torso you cannot fit the Storage tray as well. The model files are smaller than 1/6 scale at H134 x W150 x L167. Should you wish to print as a model not storage then increase parts by 70%, results in a model at 1/6 scale at H225 x W281 x L257, note the memory card tray will then be too large to accepts card sizes! None of the options are interchangeable and all have to be glued together to form the lid, and bath. 2 torso’s upper options 2 x right leg options 1 x optional cubs to stand/hook to side of bath 2 part bath tub 1 x Happy Head 1 x left leg 1 x Water Lid 1 x lower non-detailed torso 1 x memory card tray Torso pin is included, rest of parts are keyed. Also note none of the parts are orientated for print! They are left in sculpted orientation to allow you to more easily scale up if you desire. The last 2 pictures show the orientation I used for the test prints in SLA and FDM.
I SHARE MY WORK FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. . .PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THESE FILES ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR OTHER WEBSITES. LINKS TO THIS PAGE ARE ACCEPTED All parts are cut files to fit build plate of small resin printers like the Photon or have separate files than the FDM versions included. These orientations work for FDM printing but you may find a better orientation that reduces support. All the parts have been printed and developed to print, A lot of prints have been produced to get the figures corrected and fault free.
Why cut into many smaller parts I have been asked?
TIPS: Resin Printing; Head, torso’s, legs are all hollow 2.70 Raft 101 Bath,Cubs DO No Hollow Raft 101 Water Lid , if printing in clear resin hollow at 2.00 Raft 95 All parts on FDM were print tested at 0.12 speed 50 ALWAYS dry assemble and “trim” parts prior gluing. You can actually assemble both of the model prior painting, no difficult areas to paint
