Description

The OBERLÄNDER is a basic type of the Middle Rhine ship, which of 15th up to 18th century was used mainly on the distance between Mainz and Cologne. Its shape is adapted to the particular circumstances of the current path and its fairway. The floor plan has the shape of a trapezoid.
