Mecha Mobile Suit-Krieger

Mecha Mobile Suit-Krieger Free low-poly 3D model

Description

This was created for a personal animation project of my own. A Gundam mobile suit type of anime..within the series this mech was to pay homage to and act as the series Zaku. The suit deemed Krieger was/is a German forces manufactured suit and Germany's answer for the main combative conflicts within the series.

This model comes with several weapons and equipment which also consist of separate parts as to be animated easily (Read text within Blend file for explanation of rig and functions). A simple walk animation is included but note that it is not refined as I pulled the rig from another model of mine but thought to included it to give you a head start. The mech model itself is under 6000 faces and just over 10,000 with all accessories.

I hope you enjoy the model and I would like to see what you make of it with your own projects. Don't forget to like, share, and comment here and subscribe and do the same at my Youtube and other artist pages as I'll be sharing more of my content and even making tutorials to show you how to create such models yourself..and it really helps out and motivates me to keep releasing models like this so you can have free and frequent access to them.

great rig and cool model although with the rifle I had to turn on realtime on the armature modifier to actually have it move with the bone in pose mode and as of writing I'm still trying to figure out how to get the bazooka to move with the bone in pose mode because turning on realtime doesnt seem to fix that issue EDIT: fix for the bazooka problem below

Hi, thanks for checking my model out and giving input..I'm glad you're enjoying it.. I think for what you're trying to do you'll want to add a "Child of" constraint on the bone belonging to the object and have it set to track the hand....That or a copy location and or rotation constraint, but I'm pretty sure "Child of" is the one that you're going to want for the effect of holding an object..I think that constraint can be animated so you can animate picking holding and releasing an object.. Here are some examples of creators I follow doing this desired task.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXCq8CncEeA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ypY7G873g

Actually just figured out a simple fix that I'm kind of shocked took me this long to think about, object mode click bazooka, shift click bone, cntrl p, set parent to bone. Now its moving with bone
