The design evolves from a large, efficient square floor plate of 2,750sqm, enclosing a two-zone, 10 lift core. The floor plate is designed to flexibly and economically accommodate the requirements of corporate tenants. The craftsmanship has been carefully refined through the careful detailing of the space which provides a polished corporate ambience second to none in the city. The exterior design is generated from the square plan and is based on the principles of a free standing point tower with a solid base, or podium, supporting a column, or tower, of reflective glass topped with a square, symmetrically arranged pyramidal top. The base of the building follows the footprint of the tower floors above and is clad in polished Argentinean granite. A lightness in design at the base, along with a separation of the base from the tower, was achieved by subtly composing the dark and light coloured granites with clear glass around the two storey banking halls at the ground level. The tower is clad in blue reflective glass on 1.8m by 1.8m grid reflecting the regular and efficient floor plan of the building.
