ORLANDO, Fla., July 6, 2022 (Newswire.com) – CGTrader, the world’s leading provider of 3D and digital content, is holding a “Support Ukraine 3D Model Sale” fundraiser across its business to assist with the humanitarian efforts in aid of Ukraine, and to date have raised more than $150,000 through designers’ donations and CGTrader’s contributions.

To contribute to the humanitarian efforts in aid of Ukraine, CGTrader is launching fundraising initiatives across its business.

Aimed at generating donations, we now have a special two-week marketplace sale with discounts up to 70%.

Half of the proceeds generated from the "Support Ukraine 3D Model Sale" will be donated to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. We are also giving our sellers the option to donate a percentage of their royalties to the same charity as well.

What appeared unthinkable only a few weeks ago is now a disturbing reality for Ukrainians, Europeans, and the world. It has to stop.

Since the start of the invasion of Ukraine, our team has been active in making donations and volunteering to help those that make it across the border.

21 November 2013 was the day when the world heard about the political conflict in Ukraine. It was the day when the public protests demanding closer European integration began. Thousands of people went to the streets and settled there with demands for resignation or President Viktor Yanukovich and the government.

Almost 3 months have passed and people are still there - in the streets of Kiev and other cities of Ukraine. Protesters had been violently dispersed, a lot of civilians have been arrested. Those facts dragged the attention of the world. Now, when 3 months passed, brutality and violence become parts of the conflift. More than 25 people are dead, thousands have been injured in the street battles between the protesters and the police.

A lot of people have declared their support to the protesters. As you know, democracy and liberality have always been valued on CGTrader. Therefore, we invited our members to help us find a way to express the solidarity with Ukrainian protesters. There is probably no better way for us to do that than to make 3D printable supporting badges. Just take it and 3D print it. Don't forget to tell your friend to do the same.

Lots of the people believe that any progress finally results in regression. It is pointless to argue with the convinced ones. Personally, I appreciate any technology that can improve the life of a human being just by helping to warm up yesterday's dinner in the microwave or washing dishes instead of going through trouble to do it yourself.
