So it feels like we’ve just moved in – there are piles and piles of things to be unpacked and returned to their rightful place. Mugs, vases, flower pots, stools and a million other things. You did get a good inspirational kick and we thank you for being so persistent at creating and inventing these beautiful models – undoubtedly, the Home 3D printing challenge is a sparkling success.

Inventor, sculptor, designer, imagination architect, artist and troublemaker Joshua Harker has his finger firmly placed on the pulse of the emerging 3D printing technology. “I’m a 21 century artist, using 3D printing and associated technologies as my medium”, says Joshua, but really, he’s just being modest. His Crania Anatomica Filigre project, a gorgeous ornate 3D printed skull, was Kickstarter’s top funded sculpture project of all time and has become an icon of the consumer 3D printing world. He’s basically the Spartacus of 3D printing revolution.

CGTrader cannot stand in one place – we are starting totally new innitiative, which will help us to move our challenges to the next level. From now 3D print-ready models participating in our challenges will be evaluated by great professionals.
