Although the first American Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621, the last Thursday in November was officially declared a day of thanksgiving by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863, hoping the new national holiday would help unite the nation during the hard times of the Civil War. Today's Thanksgiving celebration is synonymous with feasting, football and family and continues to be a day for Americans to come together around a table. Hence, freshening up the tradition and setting a modern holiday table can help make for a memorable meal and family time. What better way to jazz up your Thanksgiving table if not by adding a contemporary twist to the beautiful traditional table setting using unique 3D printed tableware items?
