The design is also designed to sit on the platform.\n\nThe design has also been designed to be printed on a FDM printer or an resin printer (for resin the centre section is dependant on the print build plate area of your printer).\n\ndesigned at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale but can easily be scaled for other gauges.\nfor HO gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,\nfor O gauge UK at 175%, 1/43.5 Scale,\nfor O gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 Scale,\nfor N gauge print at 51.49%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not printed this model in N gauge so I can’t guarantee its printability, recomend resin over FDM)\n\nThe examples in the pictures were printed on a Bambu Labs A1 FDM Printer.\nAs normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much. I also may need this in the near future for my local model club where we are building a new layout. This design is a mix of different real life footbridges, the idea was to create a design that was easy to print on a resin or filament printer and will also be fairly robust on people’s layouts. \n\nThis is a design that has lots of variations and items within the design. This modular design is made up of Steps, Lifts, Bridge Deck and interchange sections. The design has been designed as modular so it can be used on stations with multiple platforms. The bridge decks come in multiple lengths and are labelled with length, these come in 100mm, 120mm, 140mm, 160mm, 180mm and 200mm lengths. I have also done a support section for placement between tracks that can support two deck sections together.\n\nWith model railways there is always a compromise and this is a fairly compact design to help it fit most model railways. The straight section is about 1000x455x300 in real life and at OO scale of 13.1mm x 6mm x 4mm.\n\nIn real life, this style of ducting is being used instead of the older concrete ducting as it is lighter and easier to install. The pictures are of the bridge with my children on it. \n\nWith all my designs, I like to add some variation, and therefore I have done three different length bridges and also a version with a step at the end. This way, hopefully, I will cover the needs of most people using this design. The design has been designed in such a way that I can produce the bridge in 8mm increments if needed, but you do see this in the design pictures, but the lines don’t appear on the print. \n\nThe model comes in two lengths, 70mm and 102mm; the versions with steps at the end are 8mm longer, making them 78mm and 110mm. The model is about 20mm high and 18mm wide.\n\nThe wooden bridge has been designed at OO Scale of 1:76.2\nfor HO print at 87%, 1:87 Scale,\nfor TT print at 63.5% 1/120 Scale,\nfor O UK print at 175%, 1:43.5 Scale,\nfor O International print at 158%. 1:48 Scale.\nfor N gauge print at 51.49%, 1/148 scale.
