French Cruiser Emile Bertin

French Cruiser Emile Bertin 3D print model

Description

1/1800th scale Emile Bertin model. Certain elements not to scale.

Emile Bertin was a cruiser built for the French Navy in the early 1930's. She carried up to nine six-inch guns, eight four-inch guns, and a variety of antiaircraft armament. She was refit twice during the war. For a while she was missing the center gun in her second main turret and her second refit removed her six torpedo tubes in favor of additional four-inch guns, bringing the total from four to eight.

There are three versions of this ship available in this offering.

This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.

This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.

Update 08 Oct 19: Added boats and anchor chains.

Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
