Man-At-Arms. Duncan, a loyal and trustworthy man of the royal family of Eternia, possessing the ancient knowledge of forging and machine-making, like his predecessors in the position, Man-At-Arms is vitally important to keeping the peace in Eternia, and to fight if necessary. This mission has been entrusted through generations to a single family. He is Teela's adoptive father, whom he took in as a baby at the request of the sorceress, Sorceress, his real mother. Man-At-Arms never shy away from combat and is always ready to help He-Man to defend Eternia from evil. In the early minicomics Man-At-Arms is portrayed somewhat differently. His appearance is more in line with the toy, and as there was no royal family yet there is no mention of them. In the first minicomic there is also no mention of his relationship to Teela, who is instead portrayed as a 'warrior goddess'.
