Modular Industrial Chemical Tank – 50 mm Diameter (H0 Scale STL Model)
This modular chemical storage tank system is designed for FDM 3D printing and ideal for industrial dioramas, refineries, or chemical plants in H0 scale (1:87).Each module is precision-engineered for easy printing, stacking, and assembly – giving your layout a highly realistic centerpiece with minimal effort.

Tank Diameter: 50 mm
Segment Height: 70 mm (stackable for custom height)
Base Section: realistic bottom closure element
Top Section: detailed lid with maintenance access
Walkways: attachable safety platforms and railings included
Internal Mounting Hole: Ø 6 mm / ¼ inch — allows optional threaded rod for extra strength
Bonus Part: connector element for combining this 50 mm tank with the 40 mm column model
Once printed, the setup takes just a few minutes — no complicated alignment or glueing needed if you use the central rod for assembly.

Printer Type: FDM (tested)
Material: PLA recommended
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Supports: not required
Orientation: print all parts with their flat sides on the print bed for optimal results
Assembly: use a 6 mm or ¼ inch threaded rod for reinforcement
Painting & Finishing
Base Color: light grey, aluminium, or industrial green tones
Weathering: apply sepia wash and rust pigments for aged effect
Highlighting: drybrush edges and walkways for realistic worn metal look
Compatibility
This modular system can be extended or combined with other tanks and columns from the same series to create large industrial installations.

This model has been tested for FDM printing only.SLA or resin printing has not been verified and may cause printability issues due to part size and wall thickness.
