A real volute pump can weight around 50 kg so the main idea was to develop a similar model but in 3D printing to release some weight and also  avoid assistance while manipulation and installation. \n\nSpecs: \n\n- STL model of a volute pump. Divided model is available too. \n- The total height is around 38 cm. You can scale it if needed. \n- I recommend FDM for this model (PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS, PLAT). \n\nAbout printing:\nThe most important part for quality are the supports. This can be hard to substract so that's why I decided to cut the model in two parts. \nI recommend printing it in two parts and use the one-single model if you want to print in SLA or using other kind of experimental support.\n20% of support infill is perfect for good quality but maybe you want to try 10%. I had hard times removing supports with 20% support infill. \nUse 5% for general infill. 2 perimeters are just fine. 0.28 mm of height.\nEach part (A and B) is around 2-3 days of printing with a printing velocity of 55mm/s. Consider checking your spool regulary. \n**Important: I recommend printing the top part upside down. **\n\nDon't hesitate to contact me if you have more questions.
