Air Temple 3D print model
A Shelter where little Birds feel free... A Place where they can eat and safely be... High up with Friends but not Foes... Where they can easily come and go... With this thought it came to be... Therefor I named it the Air Temple, you see :-)
Inspired by Air This Bird Feeder is made to be printed on FDM printers. For the best detail 0.1mm resolution is recommended. The Air Temple is 273mm high and 250.5mm in diameter when printed at 100% size. This model is like a Puzzle. The parts should fit tightly together. The Knob on top (TOPNUTHOLDER) is hold on by a threated Rod and Nuts. One side of the Rod (with a lock Nut on the end) is glued into the “InnerNutHolder Main.stl” Part. The TopNutHolder also holds a Nut inside. This way it can be screwed on top of the threated Rod. The six Roof Parts and InnerNutHolder Main Part can be glued together. The threated Rod should stick far enough to screw the TopNutHolder on top. Please see the Photo's and screen shots to get the idea. Then the “Pillars” can be glued onto the InnerNutHolder Part. The the 6 Floor Peaces can be glued together to form the main Floor (Feeder Dish). Onto the bottom of the Pillars the Floor can be glued. To finish it all, the 6 Roof Caps, TopNutHolder Cap & Bottom Cap can be mounted.
Note that the “FLOOR with PRINT SUPPORT.stl” and ROOF with “PRINT SUPPORT.stl” Peaces have the Print Support already in place. For People that want to create their own Support Material “FLOOR.stl” and ROOF.stl are included.
Extra option: Add Light into you Sky Temple. For this Light option You will need to print “INNERNUTHOLDER with Light cap part.stl”,” INNERNUTHOLDER with Light insert part.stl”,”INNERNUTHOLDER with Light Lampshade VASE MODE.stl” and “INNERNUTHOLDER with Light main part.stl”. They will replace “INNERNUTHOLDER CAP.stl” and “INNERNUTHOLDER MAIN.stl”. The “INNERNUTHOLDER with Light Lampshade VASE MODE.stl” is Printed in the “Spiral Outer Contour Mode” without bottom layers (basically 1 wall layer /0% infill /0 Top and Bottom layers. A Battery, Switch, Charger Circuit and LED Strips are needed. Please see below and the Photos for more information. Note that it is very important to NOT glue the (6 parts assembled) Roof to the InnerNutHolder in this case. This would make it impossible to reach the electronics for the Lamp Part in the Future.
