The Unfolding Flower Lamp2 3D print model

This Second Lamp is also inspired by the opening of a flower bud. But this time a made it with another twist. It can be used as a Table Lamp or Ceiling Lamp. It uses a standard Light Bulb that makes it easy to build. In this case I used a LED E14 Bulb and E14 Fitting, but any Light Bulb that fits can be used.

This Lamp is around 240mm high and around 160mm wide. To print this Lamp, the printer must be able to print 240mm high. Also, it must have a standard Print Bed of 200mm x 200mm. Around 130gram of Filament is needed to 3D print the Lampshade. The gray Foot needs around 25gram of Filament. The Ceiling bracket needs around 9gramm of Filament.

I tested this model with blue PET-G & Translucent Orange PET-G. The Lampshade must be printed with the “Spiral Outer Contour mode” (or Vase Mode) and a 0.8mm Nozzle. I used a Layer height of 0.3mm. The Foot & Ceiling bracket are printed out of gray PLA and a 0.4mm Nozzle (Print resolution 0.2mm). Instructions about how to assemble this lamp are also found in the photo section. The Files called “Unfolding Flower Lamp Assembled” give you an 3D look of the Lamp when it is assembled.
