The 3 Wise Monkey Vase is a sculptural piece inspired by the ancient proverb: “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” This unique vase design is a vertical composition of stylized monkey faces, each embodying one of the three principles. Repeated and stacked in a totem-like arrangement, the figures form a seamless cylindrical structure that is both symbolic and ornamental.

Each monkey expresses one of the core teachings:

One covers its eyes (see no evil),

One covers its ears (hear no evil),

And one covers its mouth (speak no evil).

The top of the vase features a flower-like rim with the proverb engraved in a circular motion, creating a poetic and contemplative closure to the form. The bottom is shaped with a recessed base for stability, surrounded by delicate hand forms that echo the motif above.
