However, you must have already modified your i3mega in order to have the front part of the trolley free. One of my first modifications does this, if you are interested you can find it among my published models.\nYou can see the X endstop move in the 3th video of fanless version, around min 03:00\n\nIf everything respects the official e3d measurements, the beaks are at a height of 3mm from the bed. In case you need to correct the height of the nozzle (if you use clips to fix bed), there are washer shims for a maximum correction of 2mm.\n\nIt uses one 40mm fan which you can slow down to around 70% and thus is also less noisy (you can use around 100 ohm resistor 1/2 watt). I recoment to insulate it with Kaptontape or something similar.\n\nNow you unscrew the 40mm fan and put the duct in front (check the orientation) and screw it together with the new and longer screws.\n\nAfter this you assemble the whole parts back together, be careful with the cables. Even with water cooling the transition zone, it will still get pretty hot so plan ahead on material choices. This print doesn't take much material so maybe splurge on a small spool of the good stuff. Also when choosing materials, keep in mind what type of water coolant your using and will it react to your printed part.\n\nSeal the entire inside walls with RTF high temp silicone before inserting the heatsink. Connected with an PTFE tube to the new X car/Hot end setup. Note that the blue parts are not original. \nFor this printer it possible to tighten the X and Y timing belt. The parts for the X axis are included. Not for the Y axis because it does not work on an original Anet. If somebody want to have those files let me know.\n\nThe Hot end E3D Heat Break dimensions diameter 22.5mm x 26mm is used, but clones with diameters of 25mm also fit\nfor this printer I made the Heat Break out of aluminum and used the heater and heater block that came with the Anet Printer. There for I did not really used an E3D Hot-End ;-)\n\nThe silicone backing mat between the Heater Block and the Heat Break acts as an heat insulator. This way the heater block transfers less heat to the heat break. Also the heater block is out of the air stream of the heat break cooling fan.\n\nFor cooling the printed part 2 Snail House Fans are used. One already came with the Anet printer itself. For these fans are 4 different Fan-ducts available. They have four different lengths I needed for my printers. Please see included Screen-Shot included with the photos. The ones I used for this example are “snail house fan duct 28.35mm L.stl \u0026 snail house fan duct 28.35mm R.stl”. \nThe four M4 allen key bolts that hold these fans are screwed into the “to small holes”, so they make their own threats.\n\nThe Extruder is just a standard direct drive design. The PTFE tube coupler is screwed in a to small hole. This way it taps it own threats. I left the hole to small so you can drill it out to the direct diameter and/or tap the treats you need. I know the lever looks very ugly :-) see photos. was to make the air flow from the fan more direct so i could use a slower a much much quieter fan without loosing the air flow across the print, while i was at it i raised the vents slightly to increase clearance and added cable supports and a tie wrap attachment, it is also one piece which replaces both other parts.  \u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI wanted to make it a direct replacement like most of my other parts, however i had to rotate the heat sink 90 degrees so the air flowed down (not sideways) this required drilling an additional 3mm hole in the heat sink, not a huge deal though.
