This boat trailer was designed to display all of my 1:8 scale boat models and can be adapted in look and functionality. The fenders and wheels, with radial tires, were designed to coordinate with the retro styling of the Chris Craft boats of the late 1950's. However, the trailer takes on a more modern look without the fenders. The boat support planks are fully adjustable to conform to hulls of different shapes and the come-along and jack can also be moved to adjust for overall length. The wheels do roll if you intend to pull the trailer and I have added an optional carbon support rod to the spine for additional support. If using for a car; the wheelbase should be 7".
