STAR FOX 64 - Lylat Wars - Arwing - 3D print model

Description

Check your G-Diffuser system! New project incoming!

I grew up in the N64 era. Therefore, I have lots of fond memories of the N64 games. As with the Mario Kart, I really liked the design of the Star Fox 64 Arwing. So, I decided that the Arwing will be my next 3D design and 3D printing project that I’m going to share with you. The model represents the higher detail version of the Star Fox 64 (Lylat Wars) Arwing that can be seen on the box art and posters.

Features

  • The wings are articulated that they can be displayed in the positions: closed, open and all-range-mode
  • The Arwing can be displayed with different flap positions on the wings: closed, up, down, open
  • The Arwing can be displayed with closed or open Dual-Lasers.
  • Easy exchange of flaps and bottom laser generator part via magnets (not included). Magnet dimensions: 5x1mm (The magnets I used can be found here: https://amzn.to/3vyqbX1 *)
  • Cockpit interior
  • Articulated Canopy
  • Decals for the SF-Wing logo, the Fox in the back, the yellow arrow on the nose and the bord computer. The decal sheet is available in PNG and SVG format.

  • Printable Bomb and Dual-Laser Item
  • Additional thinner canopy to print with clear resin
  • Display stand

Info

Use the program 7-zip to extract the ZIP-files

You purchase digital STL files for 3D printing!

All files are tested and successfully printed with a resin printer (Photon Mono) and assembled by me. Recommended printer build volume: 130x80x165 (WxDxH) The model is designed and optimized for resin printing. But you can also print it with an FDM printer. The parts are not oriented in the ideal printing orientation by default. Orient them in a way that fits best for your printer. Choose suited support structures, if needed. Or use the included presupported STL files for resin printing.

Hi! I just purchased this, and it looks like the pre-supported file "Additional_Flaps_L+R.stl" has an issue. Imported into chitubox, one of the parts looks inverted or something, it's all black as opposed to showing the surface details. Could you fix this? Thanks!
