Model of LCI(Large), this is a model from the LCI 351 ~ LCI 690 class. Based on model LCI(L) 374.
The model has been prepared and detailed for 1:100 wargaming (48cm long). Meaning the railing is a bit stronger to prevent breaking to easy. It is waterline model and not a complete hull design. The Hull would be below water and would not work on a gaming table. The model is based on original drawings. Test-printed on a Creality Ender-5 FDM in 016mm and 020mm layer and Anycubic Mono SE 005mm layer. (See pictures) The hull and the large parts will print fine on a FDM printer in PLA, 016mm gives the best result. But off-course depends a bit on your own printer quality what works best for you. All the small parts have to be printed on a Resin printer. Those parts are just to small for a FDM printer.
The 3D-prints of Railing needs to be bent a bit after printing to fitt the deck correctly. Main reason is that it is more easy to print it flat on the printer-bed. All railing prats are provided as seperate prints, these you best print flat on the FDM printer bed.
I have added the complete hull, but also cut in 4 parts. I used those cuts for test-printing. But if you have large bed-dimension you could cut the model yourself. The 4 hull-parts are best printed verticaly, as this will have the best result, less print-lines that is. (See example) Best to place the railing first, before you glue the smaller parts, as that will help in making sure all deckparts end up on the correct location.
The anchor-reel on the aft-deck is provided in parts or as 1 stl. Print which every you like.
