Endless Drawer Organizer

Endless Drawer Organizer 3D print model

Description

The model was created to store small parts and tools in the workshop. For clear storage of tools and parts, use of the entire volume of shelves and protection against dust and paint. It is possible to place it on a surface, put it on a shelf to use its entire volume, or hang it on a wall. It contains 42 different parts, which allows you to store and organize different sizes and quantities. The individual units can be placed on top of each other to a relatively unlimited height. It contains parts that can be screwed to the wall and the whole organizer can be hung somewhere. The folded organizer has decent strength. The model is designed for 3D printing. In addition to practical use, it is possible to choose a color (filament, spray) for individual parts to achieve a visually attractive appearance and use the organizer as a practical design accessory or a piece of furniture.

Technical Specifications:

The outer width of the frame is 176 mm, the length even with the drawer inserted is 195 mm. The height of the model depends on the selected assembly. The heights of the individual units are: A2 = 20 mm, A3 = 30 mm, A5 = 50 mm, A7 = 70 mm, A1 = 70 mm. The whole A0 has a height of 106 mm + the height of the pin. The upper part AA has a height of 6 mm. Other formats are added to allow you to customize the model to your liking. The model is one of the more time-consuming prints. Ideal for night printing. The time of printing and consumption of the material depends on the printer's settings and the size of the model. I recommend PLA, calmly the cheapest, print is simple is not very much to spoil. After printing, it can be sanded, sealed, and sprayed to achieve a completely smooth and glossy surface. In addition to the classic edge grinding (brim), in the case of using the first unit A0, it is necessary to glue the connecting pins into the frame (or into the pins) and then place pins on them according to the selected height. All shafts A2, A3, A5, and A7 fit into the unit A0, except for unit A1. Unit A1 has a full-frame on the sides due to the load capacity = the souffle has a different dimension. It is necessary to adjust the selection of the pins to the height of the drawer if it should be closed from above.

Print Settings:

Layer Height - 0,2 mm Printing Speed - 60 mm/s Infill - 20 % Fan cooling - Yes

File Organization:

STL Files are arranged in units. Except for the A0 unit, all other units are organized in the same way.

A0: - wall mount - wallmountframe - a basic part of the unit - pins - pins of different sizes - connecting pins(for A0 WallMountFrame and Pins assmebly) A1 - 70 mm frame - Wallmountframe - a basic part of the unit - Drawer - drawers, 2 x 2 has grooves for storing 2 dividers in length and 2 dividers in width, 3 x 3 has grooves for storing 3 partitions for each direction. - Divider - dividers for drawers have grooves that allow them to be placed crosswise over each other, so there is a separate type of Divider for each type of drawer. The Dividers vary in size because the base of the drawer is not square. A2 - 20 mm frame - organized as an A1 unit A3 - 30 mm frame - organized as an A1 unit A5 - 50 mm frame - organized as an A1 unit A7 - 70 mm frame - organized as an A1 unit AA Top Part - to close the top(last) part of the model.
