Description

Sword sliced into parts as shown in graphic. Unsliced sword is also included. I am happy to slice the model into smaller sections, depending on your printer.

This is an interpretation of the sword Brisingr, held by Eragon in the Inheritance Series of books. No scaling is needed; this model was made to be a one-handed life size prop.

PRINTER SETTINGS: To save time, we reccommend a layer height of .2mm an any FDM printer. We recommend orienting the blade and hilt parts vertically on your printer, and use supports where necessary.

ASSEMBLY: The guard has been modeled with cavities to accept the blade and grip. Some sanding of the blade and grip and/or cavity may be required for fitting, depending on your printer and settings. Assemble the two Guard pieces after test fitting the blade and handle. It may be more difficult to assemble if the guard is put together first. The gem can be printed and then cast in a transparent resin, or you may use transparent filament to achieve a similar effect.

The blade sections have a 1/8" hole through pieces 3, 4, and 5 to accommodate a long rod for strength and alignment. Blade pieces 1 and 2 have holes to accommodate the printable pins that are included in the files.
