What orientation would be the best for printing the helm piece to minimize the rough tree supports?

Are you able to detach a back piece from the helm to make it easier to take on/off, like the model you have on thingiverse?

Thank you good sir. Unless your printing them in a super transparent material they are pointless as you wont be able to see though them. If you need lenses to fit all the new expressions for other reasons I can make them for you np just send me a message.

Any suggestions for inserting the magnets? Even with the helmet scaled to 107% to fit me, the magnets are too big to be pressed in and I'm afraid of snapping /crushing the parts if I press too hard.

You can try 1x7mm magnets or do what I did and use a hand drill with the right bit to get the exact 8mm. This is pretty normal for me as depending on how the model is printed and the size, the holes will change. I tried in the past to compensate for this by making the holes 0.3mm bigger and while that did help if the model was printed flat on the build plate. It didn't work out in any other case where that hole cant be printed flat. Then it made the hole to big. So I figured you can always make a hole bigger after printing pretty easy. Its not so easy to make a hole smaller. Im away from home right now and don't remember the bit size I used, I figured out the right bit size by using my calipers. I should have pictures up of the build once home and have the time to finish the project.

Loving the new design. Are there alternate lenses for the different Eyes? Or instructions to resize the lens to fit them?

Just finished putting this helmet together and highly recommend this file. The attention to detail with the honeycomb slots and addition of a neck and chin guard make this file more than worth the price.
