Description

This is a flexible, articulated wyvern. It can stand on its own and move each leg and wing separately, as well as open its mouth. As you can see in my pictures, it can also hold a pose. When properly balanced, it can even extend its wings above its body.

It prints in place, no supports or assembly required, and is PLA compatible.

In addition to the single-color version, I have also included the multicolor version (for BambuStudio) that you can see in my pictures. Enjoy :)

--- PRINT SETTINGS ---

After printing, it may be necessary to gently pry open the mouth. To do this, carefully insert pliers into the front part of the mouth between the beak and the jaw, then twist them to separate the two pieces.

No supports required, but due to the small contact area of some parts with the build plate, a brim or a raft is highly recommended.

Printed fine for me with generic PLA at 0.2 and 0.3 layer heights. As with any print-in-place design: make sure you have good first layer adhesion (when in doubt: use a brim or a raft) and your printer is set up correctly for bridging as well as small clearances.

Amazing design. Prints great. At 100% jaw can be popped open with a little force. At 70% I have not been able to get the jaw open but the rest of the model still articulates perfectly.
