Modular Armament Missile Pods for Transformers 3D print model

Experimenting with a different concept to provide modular and versatile armaments for Transformers, here are some missile pods and struts to mount them on!

These pods are designed with a flip-down peg handle, to make it easier for 3d printing and also give the option of angling them a tad when attached. Held in place with a short length of filament, these flip from the down position to the extended position:

From there, these peg onto any handy 5mm port on your bots, or used as a handheld weapon (though due to the size, this could look a little weird).

And of course, all the ports on the front and back of the missile pods are sized to fit 5mm effect parts too, making for some cool and dynamic poses.

But going further from just having these on their own, a set of struts extend the usability for these pods. The double strut in this set comes with a center peg to attach to any 5mm port, while the other smaller single strut gives more options and can be used in a wider variety of positions and ports.

Both of these strut versions come with 5mm ports which allow accessories to be attached on either horizontally or vertically. And they can also be used in conjunction with each other to make for a whole range of different setups!
