Metal Crusher from Transformers G1 Episode Day of the Machines

Metal Crusher from Transformers G1 Episode Day of the Machines 3D print model

Description

Crashing in to attack our heroic Autobot pals back in the days of the G1 Episode 'Day of the Machines", here's the Metal Crusher!

Sized to scale with deluxe scale bots, the Metal Crusher comes as articulated as possible, with jaws which open and close, and which can rotate around 360 degrees to grab either vertically or horizontally.

And the neck on which the jaws are mounted can also be retracted or extended - depending on how far the Metal Crusher needs to reach to get a hold of its victim!

And since its body is designed somewhat like an armored tank, its upper turret has been designed to be able to rotate all the way around so that it can also attack to the rear when needed.

A bunch of 5mm ports and some 3mm pegs are littered around to allow for effect parts or other addons and accessories to be added on.

=== Assembly ===

The included diagram shows all how the parts go together.

Parts are attached using a range of 5mm and 10mm pegs, and as usual, these can be substituted using acrylic pegs or other materials, cut to length.

The little antennae is simply a length of 1.75mm filament put in place.

===

And there we have it - one of the iconic death machines which the Autobots had to overcome, brought to life!

Have fun adding this one also to your collections/displays and happy 3d printing! =)
