FDM Print Settings
Place the inside of the mask (face side) facing the build plate.
Tilt the mask back about 20° so that the horns don’t go straight up. This helps avoid tall vertical supports and reduces wobble.
Supports
Enable Tree Supports (if using Cura, PrusaSlicer has organic supports).
They grow around curves instead of sticking flat, making removal easier.
Support Overhang Angle: 50°–55° (reduces unnecessary supports).
Support Density: 10–12% (light but stable).
Support Placement:
Under the horns (especially tips).
Under the top decorative curves.
A few light tree supports under the cheek/edge curve to prevent drooping.
Avoid supports directly on detailed outer surfaces.
Other Recommended Settings
Layer Height: 0.2 mm (good balance of detail + time).
Wall Line Count: 3 (adds strength without bulk).
Infill: 10–15% gyroid (lightweight, flexible enough for mask).
Brim: Yes (5–8 mm) to keep adhesion on curved edges.
Cooling: 100% after first few layers for crisp details.
