I took photos and rough measurements and the locations did have slightly different designs but were roughly 95% the same. \n\nIn model form the design had to look right but be designed in such a way that made it strong enough for 3D printing. This design is very much a design for looks on a model railway rather than a physical stop to stop your model trains. This design is also designed to be printed on a 3D resin printer and isn’t suited for FDM printing. \n\nThis design has been tested on an AnyCubic Photon M3 resin printer with a layer height of 0.04mm, it was also printed at an angle of about 15 degrees in X and Y. I used small supports and the Auto support tool within the slicer, but I did manually change or delete a few supports after. The compressors on the model can easily be broken if you accidentally touch this area when you pick up the model, I have created a version of this as is and another with a rear support to make it a little more robust. You will need to remove the body from the chassis and glue the replacement in place.\n\nThe Buffer Steps are a fragile item on this model and can easily be broken or lost. I have created a version very similar to the original but slightly stronger for when printed with resin. There are locating pins available but a dab of glue wouldn't go amiss.
