Heavy gauge wires are connected to the tow vehicle charging system. The wires terminate at the rear of the vehicle using a \"Anderson connector\". The connector connects to a mating \"Anderson plug\" which is wired to a BC/DC battery charger. The charger regulates safe electrical charge to the trailer battery(s). A common 7-Pin trailer connector does very little charging compared to a BC/DC with heavy gauge wiring via the Anderson connector.\n\nASA or ABS are good materials for this
