The Three Graces 3D print model
The Three Graces is a Neoclassical sculpture of the mythological three charites, daughters of Zeus – identified on some engravings of the statue as, from left to right, Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia - who were said to represent youth/beauty (Thalia), mirth (Euphrosyne), and elegance (Aglaea). The Graces presided over banquets and gatherings, to delight the guests of the gods.
The three Graces statue is a Roman copy of the Imperial Era (2nd century AD) after a Hellenistic original. Restored for a large part in 1609 by Nicolas Cordier (1565-1612) for Cardinal Borghese. The sculpture is located in Louvre Museum (Paris, France).
